SANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct 19, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) — LiveOps announced today that “LiveOps Learning” social forums, gamification and e-Learning won the Gold Award in Chief Learning Officer’s “Learning in Practice Awards.” The annual awards recognize industry leaders who have demonstrated excellence in the design and delivery of learning programs designed to improve performance among their workforce.

LiveOps took the highest honors for the Social Learning category, which recognizes qualified service providers, vendors, and consultants for its work with a leading membership organization representing motorists and travelers. The winning program was designed to certify 1,200 home-based agents on a client-specific program which included the ability to demonstrate specific skill attributes consistent with articulating the client’s brand quality objectives and culture. The program used “LiveOps Learning” social forum, innovative gamification techniques and virtual eLearning. Immediately following the client designated four week ramp up period, LiveOps’ home-based, independent contractor agents exceeded the client’s expectations by raising customer satisfaction ratings and Net Promoter score.

“The Learning In Practice Awards were established to recognize transformational and visionary leaders in enterprise education,” said Norm Kamikow, president and editor in chief of Chief Learning Officer magazine. “A record number of top learning executives and solution providers were nominated by their peers this year. The winners are the industry leaders who truly champion innovation and transform it into learning and value for their organizations.”

The Learning in Practice Awards, in their eighth year, are determined by a panel of industry experts and executives from some of the world’s largest and most respected companies. The finalists received either the gold, silver or bronze award in one of eight categories.

“We’re proud to receive this honor for leveraging the technology and talent that help to foster a social community within our independent agent workforce and adds an incredible value for our client,” said Marie Jackson, SVP of Marketing, LiveOps. “This award not only proves that we created a platform that drives high performance for the client’s goals, but it also demonstrates LiveOps’ commitment to creating tools that improve agent motivation, social engagement and speed to performance.”
